Turns out the software we were using (Pligg) was too needy for LunarPages' shared hosting service - apparently unlimited storage and bandwidth is easily trumped by CPU cycles.

We're working on fixing the problem but figured it would be worth improving the overall offering.

We're looking into beefing up the software, making it slicker, adding other news sources and making the site as close to a freedom of speech tool as we can get without being thrown in gaol.
